Dear Extension Clientele,
The situation with COVID-19 is rapidly changing. Madison County has issued a shelter in place advisory, encouraging people to stay at home and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Following guidance from N.C. Cooperative Extension, we will not be holding in-person events until after May 20.
During this time the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Madison County Center staff are available to assist you remotely! While the building is closed, you can contact any of our staff by phone or email (see madison.ces.ncsu.edu/people). Programs will continue online or be postponed to a later date.
NC State Extension has developed a website dedicated to information about COVID-19, including health precautions you can take. You can access that website here: Coronavirus Response
This website is being updated daily with new information so please visit often.
Protecting the health and well-being of our community is a top priority. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we all navigate these challenges.
Sincerely,
N.C. Cooperative Extension of Madison County Staff
