We invite you to join us this fall for our Adult Education series at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park. We are excited to offer exceptional workshops to help you in your garden.

Please note: the time for this series has changed and each program will begin at noon. We plan to hold these programs in-person at Walnut Hall at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. All registered participants will receive driving directions.

Each class will be on Wednesday at noon. Classes are free but registration is required. Registration for each program will be available 2 weeks prior to the program date on our Eventbrite page. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the program. If you need assistance with registration, call 336-703-2850.

Wednesday, August 10 – The Diversity and Wonder of Seeds

Bill Deck, Forsyth County Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer

This presentation will explore the extraordinary diversity of thousands of seeds we find in the plant world. Learn about the wonders of seed germination, seed dispersal, dormancy, diversity, and interesting facts about seeds. Click to access registration for this session.

Darle Shouse, Extension Master Gardener of Forsyth County Volunteer 

North Carolina is home to many native carnivorous plants, including the Venus flytrap, the official state carnivorous plant. Learn about some of the carnivorous plants found in NC and how you can include them in your home garden. Click to access registration for this session.
