Warm Up America (www.warmupamerica.org/warmup.html) is a national non-profit made up of volunteers who kit and crochet handmade afghans for those in need.
Warm Up America afghans are distributed to: American Red Cross Chapters, Children Hospitals, Women’s Shelters, Hospitals and Hospices, Veteran’s Homes, Homeless Shelters and many other charities
Easy Serger T-Shirt: Thurs., April 25th

Supplies Needed: A favorite t-shirt to be used to make the pillow and a 14” pillow form. Bring scissors and pins and rotary cutter.
The first part of the class will go over the basics of using a serger - instruction will be done using an ECA-owned serger. If you bring your own serger, the instructors will help you learn how to identify basic parts of your machine. Keep in mind that instructors cannot help repair or readjust your serger ! Then they will show you how to use the serger to make a pillow from a t-shirt from your favorite stash!
Bring basic supplies including pins, scissors, etc. Thread and instructions provided.
This 6-week course, developed by Stanford University, is for anyone with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or at risk for diabetes. Participants will learn how to: prevent low blood sugar; prevent and delay complications of diabetes; eat well; use medications effectively; manage pain, fatigue and depression; and solve problems/set goals
