In a horse bowl competition, a series of questions are asked to teams of four players. The first team to “buzz-in” with the correct answer receives a point and the team with the most points wins the round. Teams participate in local educational workshops to prepare and compete against teams from across the Northeast region of North Carolina. Teams that perform well enough on the district level, go on to compete for the state title.
