4-H is a voluntary, educational program for youth ages 5-18 (as of January 1). 4-H enrollment in North Carolina is FREE! Some clubs may charge a small fee for supplies or for certain events. Similarly, certain countywide, district, state or national programs and experiences may involve a fee.
To Join Gaston County 4-H:
-Families must create an online account in 4-HOnline2.0 and enroll each youth member who wants to be involved in 4-H. 4-H runs on a calendar year from January-December. Each January, 4-H members will need to re-enroll in 4-HOnline2.0 to remain active in 4-H. If you were enrolled on 4HOnline in the past, your same login information will still work. If you are new to 4-H, here is a step-by-step instruction guide that will help you create your 4-HOnline account: Setting up 4-HOnline Account- Youth.
-While enrolling in 4-HOnline, youth can join a club or register as a Gaston County 4-H At-Large Member (An at-large member is not in a 4-H club but can participate in all
4-H events and activities.)
-Follow the Gaston County 4-H Facebook page!
-Attend your club meetings and get involved with all 4-H has to offer! Register for events in 4-HOnline using this guide: Youth 4-HOnline - Registering for an Event
