Homesteading: Backyard Basics is back for 2025! Join us for a day of learning about homesteading and extend your knowledge in various topics related to homesteading. This workshop is designed for homesteaders, beginner farmers, established farmers looking to diversify what you grow, agriculture or horticulture enthusiasts, and everyone in between.
You will have the opportunity to participate in two morning sessions and one afternoon session with lunch included. Tops this year include 6 new workshops –
Homesteading 101, Soap Making, Sourdough Starter 101: Cultivating Your Own Yeast, Medicinal Herbs for Tea, Edible Landscaping, Native Perennial Crops, and Getting Started with Dairy Goats. Participants will also receive resources and educational materials for all 9 workshops.
When: Saturday, Jan 25, 2024 @ 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Cost: $40 with a catered lunch included
