If this sounds like you, the NC Farm School might be the perfect fit. The 2025 Foothills Farm School, a partnership between Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, and Lincoln Counties, offers a unique opportunity for new and transitioning farmers.
This program is designed to help participants develop the business skills they need to succeed in farming. Through NC Farm School, you’ll join a community of aspiring farmers, gain essential business knowledge, and make valuable connections through networking and mentorship opportunities.
Applications for the 2025 NC Farm School, beginning in February, are now open. The program includes classroom instruction, interactive exercises, and on-farm experiences. Participants are expected to attend all sessions and work towards completing a comprehensive business plan.
